RoboSquirter
The RoboSquirter is a dual X-Y gantry through transmission scanner, industry standard, for slightly curved to flat aircraft panels and parts, generically known as a squirter system. The gantries are of lightweight design each using two stationary DC servo motors and a single mono belt to drive the transducers in two orthogonal directions, in sync, at speeds upwards of 20 in/sec while maintaining extreme accuracy and repeatability within 0.005". In comparison, most systems trying to achieve the same would be heavy, rigid, clunky; hence, less nimble, less accurate, and very slow.
The RoboSquirter design is inherently modular and dimensions can easily be matched to customer part envelope size and space.
